Burn Fat Faster and Smarter with Weights!

  • Let’s go to Burn Fat Faster AND Smarter with Weights:    


1. Weighted Lunges:

Hold a dumbbell in each hand. Take a big step forward with right foot and bend right knee until thigh is parallel to floor and knee Is at 90 degrees. Reverse motion stepping back into starting position. Repeat with right leg (1 rep). 3 sets, 15 reps each.



2. Deadlifts:

 Sit back in hips, push through heels, ascend upward and raise torso until you’re in full stand. Maintain tight core and straight back throughout. Slowly lower controlled by dropping torso and hips down until bar touches the floor. 12 reps, 3 sets.



3. Split Squat Curl: 

Stand about 3 feet in front of a chair. Back facing the seat. Holding dumbbell in each hand, palms facing forward, rest top of right foot on seat behind you. Bend left knee 90 degrees, while curling weights to shoulders. Return to start. 12 reps each leg, 3 sets.



4. Weighted Glute Bridge:

 Lie on back, butt on floor, knees bent at 45 degrees. Add weight by placing barbell or plate on top of pelvis. Tighten core, contract glutes and hamstrings and powerfully thrust hips upward. Squeeze as hard as possible on way up. Back should be firmly off ground and body should form a flat bridge between knees and shoulders. Hold, then slowly return to bottom and repeat. 12 reps 3 sets.



5. Goblet Squat with Pulse:

 Hold dumbbell at chest level and lower into a squat. Press weight forwards, then back, and stand. 12 reps, 3 sets.
